It is the official motto of the Royal Air Force and other Commonwealth air forces including the Royal Canadian Air Force.
The Avro Arrow represents the greatness of Canadian innovation and ingenuity. Against the backdrop of the Cold War, the need to push the limits of NATO’s aeronautic capabilities was essential to protect the west. The Avro Arrow was developed to be the most sophisticated interceptor aircraft of its time, with speeds exceeding Mach 2 at altitudes of 50,000 feet. Although its conceptualization was never fully realized, the Avro Arrow symbolizes Canada’s commitment to protecting the free world. Exclusively through WWCo., you can celebrate Canada's contribution to aerospace exploration with the AVRO Arrow Limited Edition pilot watch.
On its first flight, 25 March 1958, the Arrow broke four different speed records. Over the next year, the five “Mark 1” Arrows would fly a total of 66 times. The more powerful “Mark 2” Arrows that were in development never flew. Despite the plane’s enthusiastic reception, both the Arrow and Avro would soon meet their end in complicated political battles and backroom deals..
Embossed with the roundel of the Royal Canadian Air Force in the 12 o'clock position, and the RCAF emblem etched in the case back, the WWCo. AVRO ARROW MACH II makes a statement that is distinctly Canadian. The AVRO Arrow Pilot Watch is limited to 105 numbered pieces that feature an ETA 2824-2 Swiss Movement, Swiss Luminova hands, and leather Nato strap, equaling the AVRO ARROW MACH II’s performance and reliability with its aesthetically stunning design.
